The bulk of watches produced by
Squale were automatics, this
quartz  powered example is a bit
of an oddity. It uses the same
case as the mod 2001 automatic.
The "sunburst" dial and acrylic
bezel insert are also typical of
Squale divers from this era. The
fluorescent orange minute hand
has faded, but otherwise this well
used example is still in great
shape.

Most of the divers Squale
produced were co-branded, it's
also rare to see one from this time
period with the Squale logo both
top and bottom on the dial. Also
note the Von Buren signature on
both the crown and dial.

It's common to see Squales with
their serial number marked on an
outer surface of the watch case.
This watch has its serial number
located on the side of the case
opposite the crown.
