Precista watches were supplied to the British
military during the 1980s-'90s. The Precista
brand was owned by British watch
wholesaler Southerns, but by the end of the
1990s, Southerns had gone out of business,
and the Precista brand slipped into disuse.
Original Precista military issued watches are
now sought after due to their relative scarcity.

The Precista trademark is now owned by
Time Factors, in Sheffield, England. Time
Factors recently began manufacturing classic
styled military watches using the Precista
name.
