Baylor was the "private label" watch brand of
Zales Jewelers. On the case back, the "man
in the racing boat" is a nice relief impression,
and one I haven't seen before. The short
minute hand is necessitated by the extra tall
markers at 6, 9 and 12. This watch has a
thick, domed acrylic crystal and is one of the
better looking examples of a dual-crown that
I've seen.
Is this watch a "Super-Compressor"? It
has many of the characteristics of a S-C, but
no, it is not a Super-Compressor.
